He may have had a hit album with his festive record Merry Christmas, Baby but Sir Rod Stewart is not a fan of the holidays.

Appearing on Loose Women, Rod's wife Penny Lancaster Stewart revealed: "Rod doesn’t love Christmas.

“He can’t wait till the decorations are down and his house is back to normal."

However, Penny did spill that there is one thing that does put a smile on his face during the holidays.

She said: "Just to lift his mood I put a little Lady Christmas on. It puts a big smile on his face.”
