Céline Dion is one of the few artists to enjoy equal success in two languages: French and English. She has also recorded songs in Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

Explaining the challenge to Vogue France, she said: “You can’t sing in French with English words, and you can’t sing in English with French words… you have to let the words accentuate the music.”
