Kendrick earned an Oscar nomination for her pitch-perfect turn opposite George Clooney.

In this 2009 drama, she plays Natalie, a driven young analyst hired to streamline corporate layoffs – only to realise how impersonal her job really is.

Speaking about working with Clooney, Kendrick said: “He made me feel like a peer, not a kid who was punching above her weight.”
