Robert Downey Jr. returns as Doctor Doom

The Iron Man star becomes Marvel’s ultimate villain.

After leading the MCU as the iconic hero from 2008’s Iron Man until the character’s heroic sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame in 2019, Robert Downey Jr. will be portraying the franchise’s next big bad - Doctor Doom.

The actor is reportedly being paid over $100 million to play the villain, which includes a base salary and potential bonuses.
