Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore was set to play literary forger Lee Israel in Can You Ever Forgive Me?, but was fired just before shooting began due to creative differences with director Nicole Holofcener.

The actress shared: “I didn’t leave that movie; I was fired. Nicole fired me … her idea of where the character was, was different than my idea.”
