Early in her skyrocketing career, Adele once joked she would "rather smoke than be a mother," but by 2014, she turned to hypnotherapy to help her quit.

Now a mother to 12-year-old Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, Adele reflected: "I absolutely loved it, but it’s not that f****** cool when I’m dying from a smoking-related illness and my kid is, like devastated."
