The 'Game of Thrones' actress - like millions of others around the world - had a place in her heart for the late 'Friends' legend Matthew Perry.

She would see the Chandler Bing actor - who died in 2023 at the age of 54 - when she would go shopping.

In an interview with Twitter, now X, called #BehindtheTweets, Sophie - who was married to singer Joe Jonas from 2019 until 2024 - revealed: "I would walk around the corner every day to go to my local Budgens, which is a great little supermarket, and I would walk around the corner every day and I would see Matthew Perry smoking a cigarette."

The star even bought "a lighter from Budgens so that I could walk up to him and offer to light his cigarette", but Sophie was left embarrassed because Perry's cigarette was "already lit".
