The 'Joker' actor explained that he would rather have a conversation with a fan instead of taking a selfie as he recalled an encounter with a woman when he was out shopping.

Phoenix told Playboy magazine: "I said, 'You know what? I don't do that, but thanks so much for coming up...' We chatted a bit. It was fun. Then she went and bought her tube socks, and I bought my stupid little sweatpants, and that was it."
