Jennifer's parents John Aniston and Nancy Dow both enjoyed success in the acting profession – with the former appearing in the soap opera 'Days of Our Lives'.

Aniston previously revealed that her father didn't approve of her decision to follow in their footsteps.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "He didn't want me to be heartbroken because he knew it was a tough business. It compelled me to go for it even harder. Do what keeps you happy, and don't ever let people box you in."
