Will Smith has had more box office hits that almost anyone in this list.

But prior to Hollywood success, Will was one half of rap duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, with the pair producing clean rap hits in the 1980s such as 'Summertime’ and ‘Miami’.

In 1990, Will landed his own sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' and as the show took off he made a vow to himself to become "the biggest move star in the world".

And that promise came true, he made his big screen debut in ‘Bad Boys’ in 1995 and the list of hits just followed, including 'Independence Day', 'Enemy of the State', 'Ali' and 'Aladdin' to name just a few.
