The former ‘Modern Family’ star learnt she was allergic to dogs while shooting the ABC sitcom.

Sarah, 33, broke out in hives after petting “this cute dog”.

She told PEOPLE magazine: "I went to my manager’s house before call time and he had this cute dog and it started licking my upper thigh."
