Almost a Barbie girl

Away from her signature action genre, Gal was almost cast in the title role of 'Barbie', which was based on the iconic Mattel doll and became the most succesful film of 2023 at the box office. Gal had to spurn the opportunity due to a schedule conflict with another project. Eventual 'Barbie' star Margot Robbie explained: "Gal Gadot is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that beautiful, because she’s so genuinely sincere, and she’s so enthusiastically kind, that it’s almost dorky."
