Whirlwind marriage to Bee Gee Maurice Gibb
The Scottish pop star fell head over heels for the late 'Staying Alive' hitmaker after they met on 'Top of the Pops' when Lulu was 20 and he was 19 in 1969.
They married a few months later in Buckinghamshire and Maurice's brother Barry, 77, was not impressed.
The couple divorce four years later.
Lulu once said of her ex-spouse: "I thought Maurice was cute, so I said, 'In that case, tell him to stop talking about me and take me out.' He did just that, I never expected much to come from this, but in fact our relationship grew, after a fashion. Going steady is quite the wrong way to describe what was happening between us. Going unsteady might better sum up the way we fell in and out with each other."
She went on to tie the knot with celebrity hairstylist John Frieda - with whom she has 46-year-old son Jordan - in 1977 but they divorced in 1991.
