The footballing legend tied the knot with Victoria when she was at the height of her fame with the Spice Girls in 1999 after two years of dating.

As they approach their silver wedding anniversary, the couple are still going strong and last year they marked Valentine's Day with two sentimental social media posts.

Victoria said: "26 years and still my Valentine, I love you so much."

In a post emblazoned with Spice Girls GIFs, David said: "Happy Valentine’s to my valentine."
