Emma Watson of 'Harry Potter' fame took on the role of Belle in the live action adapation of 'Beauty and the Beast in 2017. The Disney classic had already been a hit on Broadway and in the West End by the time it made it back to the big screen and ultimately replaced 'Mamma Mia!' as the highest-grossing musical film ever for a short time, pulling in $1.3 billion.
