Patrick Leahy - The Dark Knight

Former Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy - who was in office from 1975 to 2023 - made a cameo in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.

In 2008, heshared screen with the late Heath Ledger in ‘The Dark Knight’, coming face-to-face with the latter’s character, the Joker.

Leahy tells the villain that “we’re not intimidated by thugs,” after learning about his intentions to confront Bruce Wayne. Leahy - a huge Batman fan - also appeared in the 2012 film ‘The Dark Knight Rises'.

Leahy made an uncredited cameo in 1995's ‘Batman Forever’ and 1997's ‘Batman and Robin’.
