A passing of the torch...

After the first trailer for the movie released, fans have been concerned that the new cast will be replacing the original team. 

Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) Ray Stantz (Dan Akroyd) and Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) all appear in the promotional material, though it is seemingly being framed as the movie where they are passing the torch to the next generation. 

Even so, perhaps that isn’t a bad thing, considering the original trio are now in their seventies, and have had plenty of exciting adventures together.
