Blazing Saddles
Directed by Mel Brooks, this movie is a satirical Western that parodies the conventions of the genre, as well as tackling issues of racism and prejudice. The story follows a corrupt politician, Hedley Lamarr, who schemes to take over a small town by driving the residents away. To disrupt his plans, the naive governor appoints a black railroad worker, Bart, played by Cleavon Little, as the new sheriff. Bart teams up with a drunken gunslinger, played by Gene Wilder, to outwit Lamarr and his henchmen.
