YES: The villain is the Grinch

If you stop to think about it, the villainous Hans Gruber has a lot in common with the Grinch.

The antagonist, played by the late Alan Rickman, is a ruthless and greedy man who plans on robbing a city of its joy.

Gruber is eventually defeated by the spirit of Christmas as he plunges to his death from the tower in a legendary scene.
