Whilst working on ‘Days of Thunder’ together, romance blossomed between Tom and Nicole, and they married in December 1990.

The couple then adopted Isabella and Connor, born in 1992 and 1995, respectively.

They went their separate ways in 2001.

When asked what she was looking forward to after their split, the ‘Aquaman’ actress said, “Well, I can wear heels now”, in an obvious jab against Tom’s short stature.
