Tom Hanks - The Da Vinci Code

Two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks let out an unexpected stinker when he was shooting 2006's ‘The Da Vinci Code’, based on Dan Brown’s hit book.

His co-star Paul Bettany caused the flatulence when he punched Hanks during a fight scene between their respective characters, Catholic monk Silas and symbologist Robert Langdon.

Paul said: “The first time I punched him - during the first scene I was on set for doing ‘The Da Vinci Code’ - I punched him and he farted... [Hanks] just looked at me and said, 'You just made me fart. Isn't that funny?' … I loved him for that."
