Unexpected Plunge

Winning the Spectrum Photo Creatures of the Air Award, Vittorio Ricci captured the moment a Striated Heron took a dive in a South African lake, dubbed 'Unexpected Plunge'.

Ricci said: "An unusual and almost miserable end of a perfect moment, previously prepared, for a successful fishing."
