The 'Gravity' star was 45 when she adopted her son Louis and then did likewise with daughter Laila five years later - and thinks that the children entered her life at the perfect moment.

She told People magazine: "When I look at Laila, there's no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here.

"I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time."
