David Beckham revealed that ‘Friends’ has always been his comfort show, and could cheer him up no matter how down he was feeling.

The soccer legend admitted that whenever he is away from his wife, Victoria Beckham, he will always turn to the sitcom to cheer himself up.

He said: “You know, I travel a lot and I’m always in hotels, I’ve always got downtime. When I’m missing the kids, when I’m missing the family, I put on ‘Friends’ because it makes me smile.”

He also revealed his favourite episode is Season 3’s ‘The One Where No One’s Ready’, which he said makes him smile “almost to the point of crying".
