December 2014: The day Joe proposed to Sofía

Once Joe got her number the rest is history.

By August 2014, Joe and Sofía were in love and in an official relationship.

The actress revealed to 'Extra' that she was enjoying herself, and that “it’s something very new, so we will see what happens".

In December, Joe proposed and she said yes! The ‘True Blood’ actor recalled the moment in an interview with Haute Living.

He said: “Our first date was in June and then I proposed to her on Christmas Eve; [we dated for] about six months. When you know, you know, and we knew right away - like, very quickly."
