In a 2014 interview with GQ, the ‘Be Careful’ rapper revealed that she had undergone an illegal procedure to get her butt boosted.

At the time, Cardi visited a basement located in New York's Queens district and paid $800 to get the procedure done.

In 2022, the music star took to social media to tell her followers that she'd had the material that increased her back mass removed.

In an Instagram Live chat, Cardi, 30, shared: “In August, I got surgery, and I removed 95 of my biopolymers… if you don’t know what it is, it’s shots. It was a crazy process.”
