The 29-year-old Canadian singer has been very candid about her struggles when having sex with husband, actor Daryl Sabara.

Appearing on podcast ‘Workin’ On It’ this year, Trainor revealed she suffers from vaginismus, a condition that causes muscle spasms making intercourse painful or impossible.

She said: “I was told I have something called vaginismus. I thought that every woman walking around was always in pain during and after sex. I was like, ‘Doc, are you telling me that I could have sex and not feel a single bit of pain?’ I’m like, ‘Daryl, I have to work today, and I can’t walk.’ For a year, I was like, ‘Do not look at me. Do not touch me.’ It took me so long to even consider having sex with him. He’s a saint.”
