A gang of seven teenagers - who were nicknamed the Bling Ring - got their kicks by stealing from the rich and famous living in Los Angeles and Paris Hilton was one of the most high-profile victims.

The socialite's home was targeted five times in 2008 as the gang knew that she was out of town.

The Bling Ring stole a wad of cash, designer clothes and shoes, as well as $2 million worth of jewellery.
