Jim Carrey has married his partner Min Ah.

A representative for the Hollywood funnyman has confirmed the couple has tied the knot seven months after they made their public debut together at the Cesar Awards in France where Jim called his Min his "sublime companion" in a heartfelt speech.

No more details about the wedding were revealed.

The couple are believed to have been together for at least four years as they were previously pictured leaving a comedy event in Los Angeles together in February 2022.

It's Jim's third trip down the aisle after previous marriages to Melissa Womer between 1987 and 1995), and his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly, who he wed in 1996 and divorced a year later.

Jim was also in a longterm relationship with TV star Jenny McCarthy between 2005 and 2010.

He went public with Min when he headed to France to accept a special honour at the Cesar Awards in Paris in February. The couple were photographed together at the event alongside the actor's daughter Jane.

Jim even gave Min a special mention in his speech - which he gave in French - calling her his "sublime companion" and professing his love for her.

He said: "Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever.

"Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah.

"And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father, Percy Joseph Carrey who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter."

Jim, 64, announced he was stepping down from his long career in Hollywood in 2022 after nearly 40 years on the film scene but he came out of retirement to play Doctor Eggman in 2024 movie Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and he admitted his break gave him a "new appreciation" for acting.

However, Jim insisted he loves his new "quiet life" life away from the spotlight and it would take a very special role to bring him back to Hollywood again.

He told Access Hollywood: "I’m being fairly serious. It depend. If the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink, that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road. But I’m taking a break ...

"I really like my quiet life, and I really love putting paint on canvas, and I really love my spiritual life, and I feel like - and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough."
