A new Hilary Duff song is coming out Friday
Hilary Duff will drop her new single CATastrophe on Friday, teasing the track with a playful clip tied to the upcoming Cat in the Hat animation.
Hilary Duff is releasing a new song on Friday (02.10.26).
The former Lizzie McGuire star - who is riding high amid her successful Lucky Me world tour - has announced the fun tune CATastrophe from the upcoming animation of The Cat in the Hat.
Alongside a video preview, she wrote on Instagram: “hey, I got nine lives, let’s live one up tonight …”
The clip sees Hilary stumble upon the iconic red and white-striped top hat the cat wears in the iconic Dr. Seuss tale.
The new song comes shortly after Hilary announced a major expansion of her Lucky Me world tour, confirming 32 additional dates after overwhelming demand.
The new leg begins on May 7 in Madrid and will take the multiplatinum star through Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, San Juan, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Santiago.
Rebecca Black will join Hilary as support across all European shows.
The So Yesterday hitmaker will return to the United States later in the year, launching the 2027 North American leg on October 1 in Sunrise, Florida. The run includes stops in Orlando, Raleigh, Baltimore, Uncasville, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Fort Worth, Milwaukee and Denver, before wrapping on November 20 in Anaheim.
Dashboard Confessional and Tegan and Sara will appear as special guests on select dates.
Hilary teased the announcement during her second sold‑out night at London’s O2 Arena in September. During the encore of What Dreams Are Made Of, confetti printed with “2027 More Dates Loading” fell from the rafters as a countdown clock appeared on screens and on her website. The moment quickly spread across social media, with fans speculating which cities would be added once the timer hit zero.
Hilary embarked on a new era with the release of her album Luck... or Something in February, her first record in more than a decade.
The follow-up to 2015's Breathe In. Breathe Out. reached the Top 5 in the US and UK.
