Kelly Osbourne reveals last conversation with Ozzy before his death
Kelly Osbourne has recalled what her late father Ozzy told her before he passed away in July 2025.
Kelly Osbourne has revealed her last conversation with her dad Ozzy Osbourne before his death.
The legendary Black Sabbath frontman died aged 76 in July 2025, and now his 41-year-old daughter has recalled the final moment they shared together less than a week before he passed away.
She told the We Need To Talk podcast: “He sat me down, and this was about three days before he died.
"He goes, ‘You can live the rest of your life knowing that there was one man on this planet that truly loved you'.
“I started to cry. I said, ‘Please don't talk like this. Please don't talk like this'. 'Cause he said, ‘You know, I'm not going to be here forever.’”
Kelly has been inspired by that conversation and the way her mother Sharon helped Ozzy be his "happiest" thanks to the Back To The Beginning farewell gig at Villa Park weeks before his death.
She explained: “My mum allowed him to die the happiest I'd ever seen him. All he wanted before he left this planet was one last show.
"My mum worked her a** off to make that happen, and it was one of the most incredible moments in music history.”
Sharon - who also has daughter Aimee, 42, and son Jack, 40, with Ozzy - previously revealed her own final exchange with her husband.
She told Piers Morgan Uncensored back in December 2025: “He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was 4:30 a.m., and he said, ‘Wake up'. I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up.’
“He said, ‘Kiss me'. And then he said, ‘Hug me tight'... If only I'd told him I loved him more. If only I'd have held him tighter."
Kelly, who had been sober for more than four years, has also revealed she found herself at "ground zero" as she struggled following Ozzy's death.
Discussing the aftermath of Ozzy dying, she added on We Need To Talk: "I was a shell of myself. I couldn't speak. I couldn't eat. I couldn't do anything.
"I was just empty. Broken in every way a human being could possibly be broken and completely unable to even take care of myself.
"I was at ground zero. I started drinking again. I lost my mind. I couldn't handle it."
However, Kelly revealed that since the dark period, she has regained her sobriety.
She added: "I can honestly say today I'm eight months sober. I have the most incredible people around me.
"I closed my circle because I lost a lot of friends because people don't like sadness and they expected me to be over it.
"I will never be over it. I will never ever be over it."
