Alec Baldwin asks wife Hilaria to 'have another baby with me'
Alec Baldwin, a dad-of-eight, has jokingly asked wife Hilaria to "have another baby with me".
Alec Baldwin isn’t done expanding his brood.
The actor, who is already a father-of-eight, took to Instagram on Monday (03.08.26) to share an Instagram post in which his wife Hilaria, who showed off her lithe frame in a bikini, tells Alec: “I would do anything for you”, as Olivia Newton-John’s tune Hopelessly Devoted to You plays in the background.
Alec then playfully pleads for Hilaria to “have another baby with me”.
Hilaria’s face then turns from a cheeky smile into a scowl, with the actress and author captioning the video: “When ‘I’d do anything for you’ meets reality with its terms and conditions …”
One person commented on the post: “…but your babies are so pretty!”
As another joked: “Run Hilaria, run!”
While a third wrote: “Just say ‘no’!!”
Alec and Hilaria have seven children together - Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, Maria, Ilara - while the actor is also dad to Ireland Baldwin, whose mum is his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Despite the Instagram post, Alec said in an interview in February 2025 that he “didn’t really want” any more kids.
But he added: “Every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at [Hilaria] and I go, ‘Time to have another.’”
With Hilaria chiming in: “They’re so cute, but my body’s really tired.”
Alec also reflected on his hopes for his children in the future in an interview with E! News in June, as he said: “Well, for a while, I thought I just wanted [them] to push my wheelchair. I say I want you guys to work out and get strong because you’re going to be pushing the old man in my chair before long.
“But, I want my kids to grow up having hope because right now it’s more hopeless than I’ve ever seen.
“I mean, kids have a latent learning curve. They get it. It might not be on the tip of their tongue for their daily rhetoric, but they get it. And ... we’ve got to continue to fight to prove to our children that you got to keep fighting.
“You’ve got to have hope, and you’ve got to keep fighting to take the reins of power in our society and that responsibility, that awesome responsibility away, from people who are going to abuse it.”
Alec and Hilaria’s Instagram post comes just days after she hit back at claims she was just with Alec for his money.
she told the New York Post’s Page Six that at the beginning of their relationship, Alec “would always try to buy me things, and I would be like, ‘No, I don’t want this’.
“I was like, ‘I don’t want you to buy me something, because I want to know that I like you for you, because I don’t want to be a prisoner either.’”
