Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has been freed from prison.

The 48-year-old former glamour model married the businessman in Dubai in January, just days after they met in person for the first time, and, amid questions about his conduct, he failed to fly to the UK as planned last month, with Katie eventually tracking him down to the UAE's notorious Al-Awir prison.

And while Katie refused to pay £140,000 for his release, he is now a free man and reportedly FaceTimed his wife just minutes after his release.

She told The Sun newspaper: "I'm excited - but trust me, I have questions".

Concerned friends of the mother-of-five have urged Katie to walk away from her marriage.

A friend said: "Lee is out and back in his rental.

"Katie was thrilled - not least because she didn't pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out.

"Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid. She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well.

"For whatever reason, she still loves him and is hugely physically attracted to him.

"But make no bones about it: Lee is a conman and a fraud and there must be consequences to his despicable actions. She must leave this man."

Earlier this week, Katie admitted she is ready to end her marriage if she doesn't like what Lee has to say when they finally speak.

She told The Sun : "I'm not a mug and when I finally see Lee, I'm going to question him.

"And if the answers I get aren't right, that'll be it, I'll be done.

"That's it. And I'll just get on with my life... and not find a man on Instagram."

Katie has met with one of Lee's former girlfriends, Dina Taji, and spent six hours going through her phone and laptop as she heard about her experiences with the businessman, when he allegedly forged her signature on a £200,000 mortgage, leading to him being banned from leaving the UAE.

Katie said: "My eyes have been opened. I just need some time to think. I still cannot end things with Lee until I've spoken to him but that was a lot."

The reality TV star has also spoken to Lee's former fiancee, Alana Percival, who has accused her ex-partner of psychological and physical abuse, but she feels she owes it to Lee to hear his side of the story before making any decisions on their future.

She said: "I am not ignoring these women. I mean, I've just met Dina, I've spoken to Alana.

"One day, who knows, if I'm not with Lee, I would meet up with them. Just for clarity.

"But right now, I'm sticking up for myself. He's got a side of the story, so have these women.

"So I think it's really unfair as well, just to listen to what these women are saying because there's always two sides to every story.

"I cannot just walk away from my marriage without seeing him again. He is, surely, entitled to his say."
