Lisa Rinna thinks Spencer Pratt is "amazing" - but she doesn't want him to become the next mayor of Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old reality TV star launched his campaign to become the mayor of Los Angeles earlier this year, and he's determined to win the race - but Lisa thinks it would be a mistake to vote for Spencer.

Asked who she supported in the mayoral contest, Lisa told Variety: "I don’t know yet."

Despite this, Lisa insisted Spencer isn't the right candidate for the role.

The 62-year-old star - who previously appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - clarified: "Not a reality star, though. I love him [Spencer], but we’ve already done that. We’re not going to do that again."

Lisa remains a big fan of Spencer, but she thinks another candidate would be a better bet.

She said: "I’m a reality person. You wouldn’t want me as mayor, really. I mean, let’s just face it, I love him. I think he’s amazing. I just think we did that."

Meanwhile, Spencer recently claimed that he will leave Los Angeles if he isn't elected the city's new mayor.

The reality TV star has vowed to pursue "the last American dream" in another US state if he isn't successful in his bid to become the city's next mayor.

He told comedian Adam Carolla: "If Karen Bass gets re-elected, or Nithya [Raman] gets elected, I will be done with trying to live in Los Angeles."

In 2025, Spencer and Heidi Montag, his wife, filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles and the Department of Water and Power (LADWP) after their home was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire.

Spencer is determined to win his legal case, but admits that he might look to rebuild his life in another state.

The reality star - who has been married to Heidi since 2008 - explained: "I'll take that money from the [Gov. Gavin] Newsom state park and the LADWP, and I'll go find somewhere that my kids will not have to see naked zombies and I can have the last American dream somewhere.

"I will not rebuild if these people are in charge. Because what would I be putting money into?"
