The 47-year-old model welcomed Harvey in 2022 after a brief fling with former Manchester United star Dwight and Katie has blasted her ex as nothing but a “sperm donor” as he continues to refuse to see their son.
Harvey, 23, is blind, autistic, has septo-optic dysplasia, which is a disorder of early brain development, and has the genetic disorder, Prader-Willi syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder that causes physical symptoms, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
On the Life Stories by Lewis Nicholls podcast, the host asks Katie: “We know that you had Harvey with Dwight, footballer...”
Katie interjects to say: “sperm donor”.
Lewis goes on: “Did he ever want anything to do – was he there supporting the pregnancy?”
And, Katie replies: “For me, I thought it's important that when Harvey grows up, I never want him to say, "Why didn't you let my dad see me?" and all of that. But Harvey doesn't understand, which is probably a good thing.
“Every year, my mum contacts his manager, ‘Do you want to see Harvey for his birthday? Do you want to see him for Christmas?’
“It's always the same answer, just not interested.”
Katie previously claimed the last time he saw Harvey was in 2012.
And, speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, about Harvey’s birth, she said: “Dwight turned up at the last minute but he didn't want to come in the room or cut the cord so dad did it, he cut the cord.
“And anyway I remember Dwight saying ‘oh there's a bruise’ and I thought "don't insult me".
“That was the last time I sort of saw Dwight, I didn't see him many times after that.
“I found it [the mark] and it's called a Mongolian blue spot, it fades eventually.”
