LEGO Horizon Adventures ‘could be coming to Xbox'
In an effort to make the game more commercially successful, Sony are reportedly looking to bring 'LEGO Horizon Adventures' to Xbox as soon as early 2025.
‘LEGO Horizon Adventures’ reportedly could be coming to Xbox.
The kid-friendly adventure title - which was developed by Guerrilla Games - released on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC last month, though according to Just Play It, publisher Sony is looking to bring ‘LEGO Horizon Adventures’ to Microsoft’s consoles in an effort to make the project more commercially successful.
While industry insiders did not tell the outlet a specific date for the potential Xbox release, sources said it was likely ‘LEGO Horizon Adventures’s launch on the platform would “at most” come in the first half of 2025, and speculated the possible release may even be sooner than that.
If ‘LEGO Horizon Adventures’ does come to Xbox, this may be one of the first significant signs that Sony is willing to move away from exclusive titles after Microsoft previously announced it was looking to bring its future games to other platforms.
In February, Microsoft revealed it would be releasing ‘Hi-Fi Rush’, ‘Sea of Thieves’, ‘Grounded’ and ‘Pentiment’ on PlayStation, and later announced its Bethesda game ‘Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’ would come to Sony’s console in Spring 2025 after it first launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC in December 2024.
Cracks in Sony’s exclusivity wall have already begun to form, with Square Enix bringing ‘Final Fantasy XVI’ to Xbox in March 2024, and vowing to launch its future titles across all platforms.
