Zendaya and Tom Holland engagement 'confirmed' after she flashed ring at Golden Globes
Zendaya and Tom Holland's engagement has reportedly been confirmed after she was spotted wearing an engagement ring at the Golden Globes.
Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged.
The 28-year-old actress struck up a relationship with her 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' co-star Tom, also 28, shortly after they met on the set of the 2016 Marvel film, and after sporting a ring on her engagement finger to the Golden Globes on Sunday (05.01.25) evening, insiders have confirmed they are set to tie the knot.
According to TMZ, Tom "popped the question between Christmas and New Year's in a very intimate setting" that was in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States.
The outlet also claimed that the 'Uncharted' star "didn't make a huge show of the engagement" and instead just made sure that it was a "romantic and intimate" moment that took place just between the two of them.
The couple haven't "started planning their wedding yet" and are instead both focused on their busy acting careers, with Tom gearing up to star in Christopher Nolan's film 'The Odyssey' amongst other movies, and Zendaya having just wrapped 'The Drama' opposite Robert Pattinson.
The celebrity duo - who have so far starred in three 'Spider-Man' films together -tend to keep their relationship out of the public eye and don't often appear on red carpets together but Tom recently admitted that Zendaya is the "best thing" that has ever happened to him.
During an appearance on the 'Dish' podcast, he explained: "Studios love it, one hotel room. Separate drivers. We're not crazy now. Listen it's work, alright?!
"Oh God, yeah. It's a saving grace. Yeah, best thing that's ever happened to me.
"But it's just that perfect thing when you're on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don't agree with, or I know that she doesn't particularly like, and it's just that like familiar glance at each other of like, can't wait to talk about that later."
