Ryan Murphy has 'finished the script' for a Glee revival
Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has given his biggest hint that the musical drama is returning over a decade after its sixth and final season.
Ryan Murphy has "finished the script" for a Glee revival.
The 60-year-old co-creator of the beloved musical series, which originally aired from 2009 to 2015, has given a massive update on a potential return after working on a script with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
He told Entertainment Tonight: "Well, funny you ask, because I just finished the script an hour ago.
"We have a script. Brad, Ian and I, who wrote all the first two seasons, have written something.”
Ryan, who is returning this week with season 13 of American Horror Story, revealed he has been in touch with some original Glee cast members about reprising their roles.
He added: "I’ve been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members, and it’s very sweet. They’ve all had a lot of questions, but they all were very enthusiastic about the idea.”
