Steven Tyler scores legal victory ahead of sexual abuse trial

Steven Tyler's sexual abuse accuser has been banned from discussing a number of details about their relationship in their upcoming trial.

The Aerosmith frontman is the subject of legal action from Julia Misley, who is also known as Julia Holcomb, after she claimed he sexually abused her when she was a teenager and he was an adult, while he has denied wrongdoing and insisted their relationship was consensual.

A number of claims in the suit were dismissed earlier this year and ahead of a trial due to begin on 21 September, Steven has scored a legal victory after a Los Angeles Superior Court sided with him on a number of issues.

According to TMZ, at a recent hearing, the judge denied Julia's attempt to excluse any evidence she consented to their relationship in the 1970s, and also ruled she cannot talk about a relationship she had while dating the Crazy singer and any alleged sexual assault after the age of 18.

She is, however, allowed to present of drug and alcohol consumption but cannot describe the 78-year-old rocker as a sex trafficker or equate what happened between them with the Holocaust.
