Tom Holland and Zendaya’s wedding ruined presenter Vogue Williams’ plans to surprise husband Spencer Matthews with a special birthday trip.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-stars marked their wedding with a huge celebration at the five-star Beaverbrook Hotel near Leatherhead, Surrey.
However, their decision to hire out the whole hotel wasn’t welcomed by some - including pregnant mum-of-three Vogue.
In a chat with the Daily Mail, Vogue said she had wanted to take Spencer and their children to the hotel as a celebration for her other half’s birthday.
She said: “I was, like, it would be nice to go to a hotel near London so I'm near my doctor if I have to come back. We were going to go up to Spenny's parents' place in Scotland, but I wasn't allowed to fly, so I was meant to go to Beaverbrook, but Zendaya and Tom Holland had gotten married there, so they were totally booked out.”
It wouldn’t have been cheap for Vogue to hire a room at the hotel though, as one of the only rooms suitable for two adults and three kids is The Village, which would have set her back a whopping £1,814.
Vogue’s admission inadvertently revealed more details of Zendaya and Tom’s wedding, as the hotel has 56 rooms and suites - hinting at just how many guests they had at their nuptials.
Famous faces among the guests included Timothée Chalamet and girlfriend Kylie Jenner, and Tom’s Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr.
Guests were treated to flowing champagne, played croquet on the grounds, indulged in Japanese food – and even had a pool party.
In a nod to Holland's Marvel superhero, the day incorporated a red and blue lights display.
A rehearsal dinner was said to have taken place on Monday, a day before the wedding, with Tom's chef brother Sam, 27, acting as best man.
A source told The Sun: 'The ceremony was so beautiful and romantic. Tom and Zendaya aced their speeches as well — they were both very funny but also very emotional.
'There wasn't a dry eye in the house. They're incredibly hard-working and lovely people, and this stunning wedding has capped off an amazing year for them.'
