Isla Fisher credits her girlfriends with helping her find strength after her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.

The couple split in April 2024 and finalised their divorce in June last year following 13 years of marriage and more than 23 years together.

Isla, 50, told E! News: "I'm much stronger than I thought I was, and I would say that my friendships, my female friendships, have really been instrumental to me discovering or recovering that strength. I'm incredibly grateful."

Leslie Mann, 54, and Anna Faris and Michelle Buteau, both 49, supported their Spa Weekend co-star as they developed a close friendship while filming the comedy film.

Isla said: "Honestly, it was so much fun. I feel like from the time we did the table read, we all just got along. I've known Anna for years, and Leslie and I had made a movie together, and Michelle, I was a fan from afar.

"But we all just had a natural chemistry, and we're all girls’ girls. So, there was a lot of support for each other and encouragement, and it was really special."
