The Michael actor and Slave Play director Robert O’Hara are in discussions to pen a movie based on Tiana from Disney’s 2009 animated classic The Princess and the Frog.

A description of the cartoon on IMDB states: “A waitress desperate to fulfil her dreams as a restaurant owner is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him.”

The musical fairy tale featured Anika Noni Rose as the voice of Tiana and was set in 1920’s New Orleans.

Speaking at Variety’s Creative Conscience Award last month, Euphoria actor Domingo revealed his happiness at finally seeing a shift in how Hollywood perceives.

He explained: “I’m being seen now in a way that I’ve always wanted to be seen, which was a multi-hyphenate,” he said. “I’ve never wanted to just be an actor. I’ve always wanted to act, write, direct and produce.”
