Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel’s wedding will be “far glitzier” than expected.

The 1975 frontman will tie the knot with US model Bechtel in Los Angeles this weekend and, while the venue is being kept under wraps, the couple previously told friends they were looking at both Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood and Madonna’s home as potential venues.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Matty and Gabbriette’s wedding is going to be far glitzier than fans probably expected.

It’s bigger than they were first planning but they’ve been trying to keep details under wraps.”

Celebrity guests set to attending include Charli XCX, Nick Grimshaw and Healy’s The 1975 bandmates.

Matty’s parents, actors Denise Welch and Tim Healy, flew to Los Angeles last week for the pre-wedding celebrations.

The wedding comes just two weeks after Matty’s former girlfriend Taylor Swift tied the knot with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in New York.

Matty and Taylor enjoyed a brief romance in 2023, following her split from actor Joe Alwyn.

However, the relationship did not last and both got together with their respective partners just months later.
