Debbie McGee feels decades younger after undergoing nonsurgical facelift

Debbie McGee feels 20 years younger after undergoing a £4,500 nonsurgical facelift.

The 67-year-old star, who has appeared on the likes of Strictly Come Dancing and Loose Women over the years, has opened up on how she has rediscovered her confidence and gone makeup free after a series of six NeoGen treatments at the Aspire Clinic in Reading.

She said: "I'm 67, I'm not expecting my skin to be perfect, but I actually think it's better now than it was when I was probably in my 40s because it's so much smoother and I just love it."

NeoGen works by converting nitrogen gas into plasma energy, which is delivered in pulses across the skin.

Debbie, who was married to late magician Paul Daniels until his death in 2016, paid £750 for each of her seven treatments, which now have her embracing a natural beauty routine.

She added: "It's given me a confidence in myself that I didn't have before, because I just feel much more natural."

Debbie was inspired to undergo the treatment because of two "unsightly" age spots which "kind of covered this area of her cheek", which she often tried to remedy with makeup.

She added: "I had lots of little freckles 'cause I was a sun worshiper when I was younger. They've all gone.

"So I used to look at people on TV and in photographs and think, 'They've got such clear skin. Mine will never be like that because I've got all these tiny little brown freckles.'

"But NeoGen has got rid of them all. So now I'm the proud owner of a face with clear skin at my grand old age. So it's a wonderful treatment in so many more ways than I would've ever thought possible."

Debbie insisted the treatment also improved the "quality" and "texture" of her skin, and "how it looks".

Despite the high cost of the treatment, Debbie has claimed it's well worth the cost, as she's saved a lot of money on "not buying foundation for a year".

But she added: "I do think that you need more than one treatment, but I will say if you can only afford one, I saw a big difference in my skin after one, but I saw an enormous difference as time went on and I had more."
