Sam Smith will release their fifth album, Hazel Eyes, this summer.
The 34-year-old singer has dropped new single My Guy and confirmed the follow-up to 2023's Gloria will be available from August 21 via Capitol Records UK.
On the subject of the album, Sam said: "This album is an incredibly special record to me. I have been writing it for over three years with a very small group of beautiful, dear friends of mine.
"This album is very personal, and I feel I have deepened myself as an artist through the making of it, through being a producer on the record, to walking alongside this record from the start to the finish and pushing myself at every single turn.
"This record and this music is incredibly romantic. I’ve learned so many life lessons through making this album, and I’ve documented it all through the music.”
In an Instagram post announcing the LP, the Writing's On The Wall hitmaker said they are "so excited to bring this piece of work and music" to their fans.
Sam wrote: "An honest account of my life the last few years, and a sweet escape for anyone who needs it.
"I believe, after this record more than ever, that love is a cure and music is a sanctuary and honesty is my north star.
"I can't wait to share it with you all. Thanks for sticking round all these years to listen."
