Bunnie XO has shut down speculation linking her to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.

Insisting she is not dating the Canadian rock star following her separation from Jelly Roll, the media personality, 46, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, addressed the rumours during the latest episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast.

The comments come weeks after Jelly Roll, 41, filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences.

Since news of the split emerged, speculation has surrounded both Bunnie and the country music star’s personal lives. Jelly, whose real name is Jason DeFord, has become one of country music’s biggest crossover stars through songs including Son of a Sinner, Need a Favor and Save Me, while Bunnie has built a significant audience through her podcast and social media presence.

Addressing claims she had struck up a romance with Chad Kroeger after posting a TikTok video featuring Nickelback’s hit How You Remind Me and appearing alongside the musician in a social media clip, Bunnie was unequivocal in her denial they were romantically involved.

She said: “I am not dating Chad Kroeger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing.

“It’s crazy. Yeah.”

Bunnie went on to praise the singer, who was previously married to Avril Lavigne between 2013 and 2015.

She said: “There's no Chad and Bunnie Xo.

“Your girl is not going to ever be in another relationship.”

The podcaster also addressed speculation surrounding Jelly’s dating life, saying he was already seeing other women.

Bunnie spent much of the rest of the podcast reflecting on the breakdown of her marriage, while making clear she did not intend to publicly assign blame.

She said: “I'm not going to say anything about Jay's actions because I don't feel like it's the right time and I don't feel like it's my place.

“And I just want you guys to know like, you know, marriages take a lot of work.”

She added: “My f****** hat goes off to anybody who can be married for 10, 20, 30 years. Like, holy s***. Like, you guys are like (an) inspiration.

“My hat goes off to you guys.”

Despite the separation, Bunnie described Jelly as her “best friend” and stressed she remains committed to supporting him and their family, including his daughter Bailee and son Noah.

She added: “My family was always so important to me. And, when I said those vows with him, I really meant them.

“You know, Jay was my third marriage. And obviously, I'm not f****** good at marriage. F****** three strikes, you're out, b****.”

Reflecting on the relationship she and Jelly built together, Bunnie said: “Listen. I can admit when I'm not good at something, you know? And marriage just probably isn't it.

“But, you know, my husband and I built a f****** empire together.”

She added: “We saved each other and we put each other on the path that we did together. But he was the catalyst for me becoming the woman that I am today. And for that, I will always be (grateful.)”
