The iconic ‘90s advert for Carling Black Label featuring a fearless squirrel has been brought back for the relaunch of the nostalgic beer brand.

The famous commercial for the lager featured a daring squirrel navigating an obstacle course to reach a nut feeder.

And now Skige is the squirrel who is navigating the obstacle course in the advert which took over 100 hours to make.

Skige was trained by Trevor Smith – the same handler from the original ad.

Comedian Stephen Frost fronted the original Carling Black Label campaigns of the ‘90s and he also returns as the unmistakable voice of the brand.

Frost said: “I was around for the original, so it’s been a real trip down memory lane working with Carling Black Label again. It’s great to revisit such an iconic campaign and to be involved in something that still has so much energy and personality today, but for a new generation of drinkers.”
