Sir Paul McCartney and Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have secured places on this year’s Sunday Times Rich List, as the annual rankings reveal the wealthiest figures in British music.

McCartney remains the only musician in UK history to reach billionaire status, with the former Beatle and his wife, Lady Nancy listed with a combined fortune of £1.055 billion.

Their wealth continues to rise through touring, publishing, catalogue reissues and the enduring commercial power of The Beatles’ legacy, which remains one of the most valuable cultural brands in the world.

Further down the list, Noel and Liam Gallagher - who made a triumphant return after 16 years with their Oasis Live '25 tour last year - make a joint appearance with an estimated £375 million between them.

It's the first time the pair have made the list.

The figure reflects their solo careers, publishing rights and the long‑lasting global demand for Oasis’ music.

Despite years of public tension, the brothers remain among the most financially successful British artists of the past three decades, with their catalogue continuing to generate major streaming and licensing revenue.

While McCartney is the highest‑ranking musician, the overall list is once again dominated by industry moguls.
