John Altman was written out of EastEnders for saying no to Nasty Nick turning gay

EastEnders legend John Altman has claimed he was written out of the BBC One soap for refusing to film a storyline which would have seen Nasty Nick turn gay and start dating fellow legendary character Lofty.
