Joey King used to pick her skin to try to combat acne.
The 26-year-old actress has opened up about how her skincare regime has changed, after going back to bad habits when harsh toners and rough exfoliants didn't work with her breakouts.
She told WWD: "I just didn’t know what to do. "I just thought that was the best way to make my acne go away, especially during the stress of being in your early teens and working on a set and wanting your skin to look perfect.
"I had no idea what I was doing."
She has now joined Neutrogena as a brand ambassador, and is the face of the brand's new Evenly Clear collection, which incudes a cleanser, moisturiser, cleansing mask, exfoliant, retinoid and clarifying spray.
It's the company's first codesigned dermatologist range aimed at treating adult acne, and limiting post-acne marks.
The Bullet Train star added: "I’m very grateful that this line exists now, because I feel like I don’t have to compromise between hydration and acne care.”
